Trying to find Fleet

I am interested in any information about Alice Fleet (mother of the Titanic lookout Frederick Fleet). She was born on 29 June 1870 at 93 Ellison Street, Everton (Liverpool, England). She gave birth to Frederick on 15 Oct 1887 in Walton (Liverpool) and, as she was not married, placed him in a Dr Barnardo's Orphanage and soon afterwards emigrated to Springfield, Massachusetts, USA apparently 'with a boyfriend'. According to the Springfield, Mass. Directories, 1890-91, there was a "Miss Alice Fleet; (Location 2) boards 188 Quincy; Springfield, 1891" but I have been unable to trace anything since that date. Also, I would be glad to hear from anyone who knows anything about Frederick Fleet. After the Titanic disaster he eventually settled in Southampton. Sadly, he took his own life in early Jan 1965 following depression brought on by the death of his wife, Eva (maiden name Le Gros), who died on 28th Dec 1964. He was, I believe, my grandfather's cousin.
