My husband's ancestor was Elizabeth Harriet PARBLES. She was born in France c1782. She was married/lived with Robert DING of Fen Drayton Cambridge. Robert DING had fought in France during the Napoleonic wars where he presumably met Elizabeth Harriet. My question is - does anyone know what her maiden name was as it has been anglicised to PARBLES. She had a son named John (who states in census records that he was born in Brussels France) and at his 3 marriages (1835 Welney NFK, 1842 Upwell NFK and 1844 Welney NFK) his name was spelt PARVALUS and PARVALS. I have searched Western Europe Vital Records with no success. Can anyone help or suggest where I should be looking? |
