i am looking to find my grandfathers family which i believe to be from Stranraer scotland.His name was Wilfred Norman Blain and he was born in 1900 and died in 1965.He was in the Royal navy and married a lady named Mary(molly)Henderson from Ireland.I believe his mother was called Elizabeth and that he was an illegitimate child.She was a domestic servant when she was 15 and i believe she was born in 1875 to Sarah Blain who was a fishermans wife,she had a sister called Margaret who had an illegitimate son calld William and 2 brothers John and Robert.Any info would be great as i have hit a brick wall at the moment! |
