Seeking family of Henry Richard Williams born Chester 1872, son of William Williams and Jane (also née Williams. Henry Richard married Ellen Ada Brett November 1901 they had Henry Arthur born prior to marriage 31/03/01. Ellen died in 1909 aged 33, what happened to Henry Richard Williams did he remarry, if so are there any descendants out there? Henry Richard had 7 sisters and two brothers, Herbert and William. One of his sisters, Katie, became an opera singer. Does anyone know anything about her? The family were living in Camberwell, Surrey at the time of the 1901 census but Henry Richard Williams lived in Clay Cross at that time. Henry Richard's father, William Williams, was born in Holywell, Flintshire, in about 1839. William was involved in the manufacture of steam engine pumps and lived in Cheshire, Scotland, Crewe, and finally Surrey. He was also apparently something to do with artesian wells. Can anyone shed any light on possible companies he could have worked for. |
