Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	Info needed on William WHITELEY who married (?) Alice VAUDREY, 1846, in Salford, date unknown. They had a daughter Ada born c 1878 in Salford(age 3 on the 1881 census). Where was he born, where did he go? Reason being that Alice was living with James ANDERSON, unmarried, in 1881 as his housekeeper,noted as married, but was the mother of his 2 children James and Agnes!! Scandalous then, but the norm these days! :-) UPDATE January 2004. Found him on the 1881 census with his 4 sons living with his mother in Bury. So now I have 4 grand Uncles I didn't know about.
