Trying to find my husbands uncles (or any cousins he may have. John and Walter are brothers of Charles Thompson born 1920 in Liverpool. Their parents names were Charles Thompson (born c.1885) and Ellen (nee Fall). Charles was a mariner on their marriage certificate in 1915 I've hit a dead end and would also be very pleased to hear from anyone with information about Charles father William Thompson. I've checked the 1881 and 1901 census for Liverpool but there appear to be so many William Thompsons it's confusing and very few Charles aged approximately 16 in the 1901 census. I haven't at this stage been able to access the 1891. Thanks. |
