I am trying to find out the names of my grand parents. My father was John Norman Dunstone, born about 1919, possibly in Essex. His parents were both in the Salvation Army, both Generals I believe. He had four sisters, Poppy married to Reg, Cissie married to Len, Kath married to Joe and Muriel. I think he was the youngest child. He married Irene Annie Ellen Smith (my mother) in February 1940. He was in the Royal Engineers for about 12 years - 2 years in Hong Kong and he was at Dunkirk. He went into the Metropolitan Police after leaving the army. He divorced my mother approx 1952, hence I have little knowledge of him. I would love to hear from anyone who has any information on him or his parents.
