Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	i AM TRYING TO FIND OUT IFF MY FATHER HAD ANY BROTHERS OR SISTERS.hIS NAME WAS GEORGE ADAMS AND ORIGINATED IN THE BURSLEM DISTRICT OF STOKE ON TRENT.HE WAS BORN APPROX. 1915.HE WAS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE ST JOHNS AMBULANCE BRIGADE BEFORE GOING INTO THE RAF IN THE 2ND WORLD WAR.HE MARRIED MY MOTHER WHOSE MAIDEN NAME WAS FLORENCE HENSHALL ALSO ORIGINATING FROM BURSLEM.MY GRANDFATHER ON MY MOTHERS SIDE HAD A CORNER SHOP IN GORDON STREET,BURSLEM.
