Trying to find Cohen

David Christopher Fox is trying to find his father Daniel Cohen, (possibly nicknamed Barney) born in Ireland (possibly Waterford)or maybe even Northern Ireland and lived and worked in England. Met Vera Fox(David's mother) sometime in 1946-7 possibly in Alfreton area of Derbyshire, last saw her 31/12/48. He may have been working for Wimpey or some opencast mining company and may have known James Dee or worked under him. David was born December 1947, his sister Valerie in 1949, both the children of Daniel Cohen. Daniel may have emigrated soon after 1948 or returned to Ireland. He could also have been married at the time he knew Vera Fox. |
