I'm trying to trace decendants of my great great grandfather,Ernest Shears (born in Lympstone,Devon in 1859),who I know had 2 sons, my Great Grandfather William Ernest(b 1881)& CHRISTOPHER JAMES SHEARS(b.1877,married Harriet, from Ireland),who went to the States some time after 1901 & had a son we think was named KENNETH JAMES,who was(a Surgeon Commander?)in the US Navy & visited England in about 1940/1/2,& also,possibly,a daughter called Patricia... I don't know if this site is picked up in the States, or if any descendants have come back to the UK,but would love to trace any of them!
