Trying to find Mc Geown

We were never aware of there being many Mc Geown's about form a local point of view. My father was born in Cumbria, of Irish parentage. Although there were four brothers, none of them had sons, to contiue the family name. There were some Mc Geown's in Austraia, I believe. Please get in touch, if you are out there. My grandfather's name was Patrick, he was born in County Louth, in Ireland.
