XXXX DYER XXXXXXXXXX I am trying to Trace my Great Grandfathers DAD - his name is John Joseph Dyer, his son (my great granddad) is John Richard Dyer, known as "Jack". I do not have a date of birth for John Joseph, but believe it to be around the 1870-1880's - as his son was born in 1904. John Richard dyer and his wife lilian lived in Hackney East London, but I have no idea where is parents were from. I would live to heae from anyone tracing the dyer name as my mum is the last generation from the dyers and the name will not be carried on as my brothers both have my fathers surname.
