Trying to find Brett

I'm trying to find info on an Arthur Brett who was a soldier, stationed in the Hull area around 1907, had a sister and died not long after as a result of having a tooth extracted. Update 05/01/04: I've now located Arthur and worked back to his father Thomas Brett who was born in Newark around 1844 and married in 1878 to Jane Scott (ne Frost) at Beverley St Mary; according to their marriage certificate, both fathers were called William: William Brett was a Pipemaker and William Frost a Butcher. I've found Thomas' army records at Kew but can't find a birth record for him at the FRC so I'm currently stuck.
