Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 3 Send Message	My mother,Olive Postans was born in Winchester 1n 1923.Her mother's name was Emily (I think). She was a lamplighter,a nanny but unfortunately she died whem mum was about 14.Her father worked aboard ship( I think he was in France at some point( his name was Harry.She had one brother called Les who is now dead.Mum has stayed in Scotland since she was 18.I hope to go back to Winchester with her and my dad this year,which is their Diamond Wedding year.
