Trying to find Reddie

I'm trying to find any information about Alexander and Emily Reddie (my great-grandparents) around 1901. Alexander was living in Middlesbrough with his half-sister Julia (see previous message) while his wife Emily was living in Beverley, East Yorkshire, with their two sons Alexander and Robert (my grandad). I would really like to know why she was in Beverley. I also found a birth and death of a Jennie Reddie in Beverley in the March quarter of 1900, so am assuming that this was Emily's child too. Alexander's parents both died in the June quarter of 1900, so I was wondering if he'd come home to attend to family business whilst leaving his wife in Beverley (possibly she was pregnant with my grandad at the time). |
