Charles/Charlie Wright b1883 d1947. Lived in the east end of London Whitechapel/Stepney. Common law husband to Mary (nee Porter) had 5 children to Mary: Annie, Kathleen(Kitty), Terry, Dennis - one other boy who died in infancy. Previously married/partnered and had 2 sons (think 1 may have been George and the other Edward?). Nick-named "The Lawyer"; amateur song writer (frequented the local taverns and was renowned for co-writing with Charlie Chaplin). Worked for the railways (figure work mostly). Would be grateful for any information on the families of the 2 sons. please contact Kim Otway. |
