James father was William Holgate a tailor by trade and Harriets parents were Fredrick Henry Shotter and Emma they lived in Leeds in 1901 Arthers and Harriets Children were Cyril Dorothy,Elsie, Gladys,Clifford, Harriet,Albert James and Basil.
