Anyone out there connected to the Derby Beesons. I'd particularly like to contact any descendants of John, a builder of Derby who died circa 1909. He married a Harriet X?(poss' Milward or Williams) who was a widow. She apparently sailed to join her husband in America but was greeted by a Priest telling her her husband was dead and that they had been 'ripped of' by his partner who fled with money from a joint business venture. She returned home and eventually settled with my great-great-grandfather around 1860(altho' i cannot find their marriage!)She had two daughters by her first husband -Eliza and Emma, and went on to have several more.. |
