Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 4 Send Message	Hi, My grandfathers name was James Stanley Higgins known as Stan. He married Sarah Hayes. Stan fought in the second world war and after that became a chauffeur for a publican who owned tha Cherry Tree pub in 'Old Southgate', Sarah was the nanny. They had three kids, my mother Mavis, sister Gaye, and brother David now deceased. Sarah's maiden name was Hayes allegedly from Gypsy background. Her mothers first names were Elizah Julia.
