Member Since: November 2002 Posts: 2 Send Message	My gr. Mother was born in Rotherham. Her name was Lilly Green born 1899. Her mother Mary Helen died when she was 13 yars old. Her father remarried. She had two brothers. At 14 she went into service and eventually married John Edwin Parkin. And lived in Sheffield until her death in 1985. She had 6 children Edmund ( who was killed in action in the 2nd. world war aged 22), Ron,Rita,Edwina,Brenda and Elizabeth. Iwould love to hear about her early years.
