Thomas O'BRIEN was tried in 1795 in County Cavan Ireland, he got 7 years, transportation aboard Marquis Cornwallis to Sydney Australia, arriving 1795. Was a widower at the time of marrying Margaret CONNELLY/CONNOLLY in Sydney in 1810. One known son John O'BRIEN was born c1816/1819. Suspect Thomas was a political rebel, he could read and write. Any connections?
