My dad's name is David and his brother is Douglas. MY dad was born in 1942 in Glasgow. His mother died when he was a toddler of TB (i think) her maiden name was Bickerstaff.Her parents were David and Nellie Bickerstaff. His dad went to Australia and returned to Scotland when my dad was about 14 . He died shortly afterwards of cancer. My dad's father had a new family in Australia whom my dad never met (half brothers i think) He also mentioned something about one of them moving to South Africa where my dad is living now. if anyone knows of this family or is related in any way please contact me or post a message on here. thanks. |
