John Ballantyne was the brother of David, (wife - Mary - children - Lorna, Elaine and Sandra.) Their father was Alec Ballantyne. Originally from scotland - Ayrshire. My dad was married to my mother Dilys Thomas.They divorced in the late seventies. He was in the RAF originally at St Athan then various stations including Laarbruch, Coltishall, Little Rissington.
