Trying to find Brown

Albert Brown, born 1876, Luton, Bedfordshire. I have some information on an Albert Brown, who may or may not be my Great grandfather. I found him living in the 1881 census in Luton with his mother, Ellen (born 1838), and step father James Thorogood (born 1832, Luton). Siblings were: James, born 1862; Alfred, born 1865; Arthur, born 1867 and Harriet, born 1869. All born in Luton. I found a marriage record for Ellen to James Thorogood at St Mary's, Luton on 4th August 1879. This lists the father of Ellen as being Thomas Bunnage, and James's father as being Joseph Thorogood. Is this Albert Brown the Albert who married Alice Maud Parsons and fathered Arthur Murray Brown and Norah E Brown? Any help appreciated.
