I am looking for any information about Catherine Connell who married John Hughes some time probably before 1920. They lived in Ballina, Co. Mayo. There were about 5 sons and 2 daughters and the family moved to England in search of work. Their son Edward married Kathleen Joan Westley in 1945. The marriage produced one child, my mother, but Edward left when she was 6 weeks old and she never saw him again. Edward died in Nottingham in 1985. I would like to know when and where Catherine died, and I would love to hear from her other children. Catherine's husband John Hughes died in a railway accident in Lancashire, in 1950. |
