Samuel Cowan Murray Trying to find relations of Samuel Cowan Murray ( My grandfather) Born 2nd October 1919. Left Paisley, Glasgow 1933 aged 14 yrs old. His mothers name was Elizabeth Cowan who died when he was a baby, his father was named John Murray or he may have been known as Jackie, he remarried after the death of elizabeth, we believe he may have married someone called Helen. My grandad had a brother also called John or known as jackie who married a lady called either Lorraine or jeanette, They had 2 sons called Graham and Ian and 1 daughter called lorraine or jeanette. They possibly moved to canada could still be living there. Samuel had quite a few half brothers and sisters one possibly called pearl. Grandad also recieved a telegram sometime in the 50's with the sad news of his father jackies death, which was sent to his home address 13 Croft St, Preston, Lancashire. He attended the funeral in Glasgow, so somebody knew where he was even after all that time. But after that we know of no contact between any of the family.
