My grandfather was JAMES HENRY HILL (possibly known as HENRY)born about 1870, possibly in the Bethnal Green area of East London he married Sarah Alabaster. I believe he was married at least once before he married Sarah (possibly ELLEN or MARY)and he had some children in that marriage, as my father knew of at least 1 his name was also James know to my father as 'Big Jim' and there were probably more. My great grandfather was also a JAMES HENRY probably born about 1850ish in East London,his occupation was given as a Hawker, my grandfather was a Dock Labourer. Please can anyone help. Any help anyone can give me no matter how small would be grately appreceiated. Many thanks |
