Trying to find Dane

Hi, trying to find my Grandfathers connection to Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. His name was James Dane, he married Elizabeth Cluney in Dublin then set up home in the Shankill Road area Belfast and worked for a time in the Harland & Wolff Shipyard. Have found out that his fathers name was Joseph, a carpenter. Have been told that he was descended from the Danes of Fermanagh who originated from John Dane of Somerset but cant find that vital connection
