Any descendants of Robert Horatio Nelson Cook, b. 1834 in Fox Lydiate, Worcestershire. Listed in 1881 census as living in Newcastle upon Tyne, occupation Oil Importer and Merchant, married to Sarah (nee Milburn) with eight children. Robert b. 1865 (in Gateshead) Annie M. b. 1866 (in Newcastle) Charles b. 1868 " Ida E. b. 1869 " Ethel b. 1871 " Frederick b. 1873 " George b. 1875 " (my grandfather) Elizabeth b. 1878 The 1901 census shows Annie, Ethel, Ida and Frederick living in Jesmond, Charles in South Gosforth with wife Josephine and children Charles, James and Mona, and George living in Whitley Bay with wife J(e)anette (nee Barr)and son John(my father) Any info greatly appreciated. |
