Thanks to ALAN SMITH it seems that I am now looking for a JOHN BUTTERICK who was born around 1772 around the same area ie BUTTERWICK, Lincolnshire as this is where he died on 13/01/1842 leaving his widow MARY WATSON and possibly 7 of their 11 children. This is 2 generations furthur back than I had previously and it's all thanks to GENESCONNECTED!
