Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 4 Send Message	Valerie Bell - Trying to find any living person who thinks they may be related in anyway to the Gurford's. I am trying to find relations of my Great Grandfather, he was a foundling, he used the name Harry Gurford and married my Great Grandmother Ethel Peabody, they lived in Heanor Derbyshire at sometime as that is where my Grandmother was born in 1901. Harry and Ethel were fairground travelers for a few years and went around the country, when they retired they lived in a romany caravan in Leicester. I do not know where or when Harry was born or even when he died but it was after the 1940's, his name may have been something else to start with. I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any details they may think will help. If you are a Gurford where did you come from? We may be related as there does not seem to be any around that i can find!!!
