Find Ancestors

I would like to hear from anyone who knows anything about my mother's family. Her name was Margaret Brown (or McGlynn). McGlynn was her married name and she still had that name when she gave birth to me on 11th February 1963 in Simpson Memorial Hospital, Edinburgh. My father was Henry ("Sonny") Grieve. Sadly my mother died six weeks after my birth and her last known address was Craigmillar Road, Edinburgh. I don't think my mother's family wished to have anything to do with her illegitimate daughter at that particular time, but its now 40 years on. I understand my mother had a siser called Angela (after whom I have been named. She also had a brother who worked for the Health Board at a Hospital in Edinburgh (don't know which one). I have also been told my mother had two children of her marriage to Mr McGlynn and therefore they are my half brothers/sisters. I have two kids of my own and we would like to know something of our other family. Surely someone by the name of Brown from Edinburgh will be on this site at some point. Look forward to hearing.
