Trying to find Lakey

I am trying to find relatives of my maternal grandmother, Lilian Lakey. Unfortunately, I do not have very much information about her. She was one of a large family brought up near Sutton Bridge, Cambridgeshire and her mother died whilst giving birth to Lilian's youngest sister. Lilian then had to care for the family, until her father chose to remarry. Lilian and her step-mother did not get along and so she moved away to Wisbech aged 14 to work. She married Leonard Thomas Cornelius Hite and settled in Upwell, Norfolk. They had three daughters, my mother and two aunts. Anyone who has any information please get in touch. Thanks. |
