I am looking for anyone who can give me any information about a William or a George Downing. I know that William was born in Middlesbrough in 1872 and was married twice, he also had several children and at one stage the family ran a pawnbrokers in Middlesbrough (so should have been well known back then!!!). He left Middlesbrough to live in Redcar with at least three of his children. George Downing was Williams father - no date of birth but I know he died pre 1919. Any information would be great... |
