I am trying to find any decendents of John Whitehead and Rebecca Powell who were married in Orston, Notts in 1884. They had three sons George William (who was my grandfather)he was also born in Orston, Notts.also John and Harry who were both born in Basford, Notts. I am also desperate to trace any remaining family of my paternal Grandmother who we beleive was Ellen May Marriott. She married GeorgeWilliam Whitehead in Nottingham in December 1920. She died in child birth in 1926 or 1927. Her fathers name Howard Marriott and he was a house painter. I am told they lived in London. She may have been a nurse as they met when George was wounded in the First World War and was sent back to have artificial limb/s fitted |
