Sue,

As the last post was in 2007, Jennifer may no longer be a member of genes, and may no longer be reading these boards (she only has these 2 postings to her name)

You could click on her name to try and send her a message - if she still has the same email address she will be notified by genes of your pm.

Angela Grace Pester was born in South Africa in March 1941, child of Alice Ravenhill (Fisher) and Ernest Frank Pester. Alice Ravenhill Pester died in Worcestershire in 1986. Angela Grace came back to England in 1958 and that is the last trace on shipping records I can find. She is my 5th cousin.
Alice travelled regularly to and from South Africa and in all the records I've seen (on ancestry) she gave Essex addresses.
I hope this is of some help. Your husband will be my 5th cousin once removed. You can find a million! relations on my Cockburn/brears/Edwards tree on ancestry.
Kind egards
Sue

Hello Janet - my husband by birth was a Pester, his mother Angela Pester (maiden name) lived in the Surrey area in the 1960's we are led to believe - does this match with any of your tree at all? We are keen to trace Angela and would be grateful for any information. Thanks Jennifer.

Hi Janet - you posted your message ages ago - do hope you are still using the site and receive this at some point. I am trying to trace an Angela Grace Pester, unfortunately we do not have much information about her, she is the mother of my husband and gave him up for adoption in 1967, we believe that she was in her twenties at that time, it is possible that she moved from England soon after his birth to Africa but we have been unable to find any information to support this. If it means anything to you at all with the traces you have done we would love to know. Thank you - Jennifer Jordan-Moss.
