Trying to find Molinari

ProfilePosted byOptionsPost Date

Alfred

Alfred Report 19 Jul 2003 14:36

Hi. My Name is Alfred Molinari, but all my family would know me as Freddie. My Mother and Father names were, Catherine and Anthony (Cathy/Tony). I am trying to build a family tree, but as the family came from abroad, it has become extremely difficult, so any contact from members of the Family would be greatly appreciated. [email protected]

Hi

You posted a search request in 2003 for help in researching your Molinari ancestors. I wonder how you have progressed in the last 12 years!

I am also stuck with the same line. My g.g.grandfather was Antonio Guisseppe - also know as Joseph Anthony and he came across from Lake Como, Lombardy in about 1850, settling in the Clerkenwell area of London as a Looking Glass silverer.

I have been looking for records of his son, Alfred William, b 1857, who vanished after the 1881 census age 23. He was shown as a Ticket Writer. There was another brother, Charles Albion, b 1860.

Any info at all would be much appreciated.

Regards
Barbara

Hi Barbara,

You've noticed that Alfred posted 12 years ago. He hasn't been back to the boards since then and may/may not now be a member.

You can try to contact him by clicking on his name - you can then send him a personal message, which, he will be notified of by GR if he still has the same email address as when he registered with them. Even if he receives the message, there may be various reasons why he doesn't reply (check to see in your sent messages box if the envelope has been opened)

Or try the email addy he left on his post (but shouldn't have - against GR's guidelines)

there is only one Alfred Molinari in the births index

born early 1950s ... which is what Alfred shows for himself in his family tree at this site (click Search and then Search All Member Trees up at the top of this page, and search for his name, and he shows as 'Alfred (Freddie)')

if you search at http://www.freeelectoralroll.co.uk/

you will find his name with matching age, and complete postal address

since Barbara has only one post and likely joined only for this thread and doesn't know the site, I will send a PM
