Hi Lynn, look up at the top and where it says Messages you should see a number. Click on Messages and then Inbox and you will see the message in your inbox :-)

if you have a current email address in your account here you should have received a notice of the message, and you can also just follow the link in that email

Elizabeth's post is more than 11 years old so I doubt that she will see your message. Try clicking on her name and that way you can send her a private message. If she still has the same email address that she registered with Genes then she will be informed that she has a messae from you.

Hello Elizabeth My fathers mothers name was also catherine doris coomber born in surry in 1919, my father is was born in 1937 in surry his fathers name was george thomas brown, i have found marrige cercificates in 1936 marrige of catherine doris coomber & george t brown, also my fathers birth cercificate with catherines name on been looking now for a while to put a family history together for my dad i saw this on here and had to write to you best regards lynn

hi anyone have any info on a family named COOMBER from surrey. My mother was catherine doris coomber born in surrey in 1919. Her mother was Annie Jane Coomber , who married a WILLIAM G KING in 1919, they had a large family, Betty, Leslie, Lennie, Ronald ,Wilfred and Wally> After Williams death she married a Mr Haddow, and had a daughter Peggy. After his death she married George Rose, when she was in her 70/80's. She died in 1977. thanx
