Hi, I am related to the same ormsby,s but from the other side of Jacqueline above who is my cousin, recently found.... the ormsbys on old sneddon are my family I have quite a bit on the ormsbys now going back to the mccafferty's . |

hi linda my name is jacqueline ormsby and my grandfather was called hugh ormsby they live in paisley my grandmother was hellen mitchell and they live in grt hamilton street south end off paisley as far as i know my granpass brother was called patrick but i am still learnig and dont know alot can you tell if if you think there any relation too my grandfather kind reguards jacqueline |

Can any one please help me im trying to find any ormsby all my family come from pasiley.my great great grandmother and grandfather came from ireland they came over and had 3 children John born in1870,Patrick born in1883,then my grandmother Hellen she was born in1886,she went by the name of Ellen she had 7 children richard born in 1906 ? then Patrick born in 1908?, Cathrineborn in 1913. twins Ellen and Mary born ?.John born in 1918,then my mother Frances born in 1923,when my grandmother was born they lived at 7,old sneddon, i dont know if it was street or road.my mother went into care when she was two with the nuns on the glasgow in 1925 thank you lynne |
