Trying to find my grandads place of birth told Liverpool but not sure as I am still looking, his name was William Griffiths born about 1880 married to Isabella Hayes from Tipton staffordshire.They lived in Ellesmere Port Cheshire. My father was Robert Alfred Griffiths 1920 - 1984 had 10 siblings. Any info would be great. Bill G

Dear Bill,

By now, you have probably found the information you wanted, as I can see your post was in 2004! However, just in case you haven't, I have the following information about William Griffiths:

1881 13 Tipton Road, Tipton
1891 22a lower chapel street, rowley regis. iron work labourer
1901 41 Lower Chapel St, Rowley Regis, Kingswinford, Staffs..
1911 17 Oldfield Rd, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Iron worker at corrugated sheet mill

Bill only ever posted once so its very unlikely he is still a member especially as his posting is nearly 11 years old

I doubt if he's on GR's 'books' now................zero posts, and a start date of January 0001
