PatinCyprus, the original post is more than 10 years old.

The area you are searching is a minefield. Stourbridge was in Worcestershire in 1904 and if you restrict your search to Stourbridge you may miss the family.

My paternal side lived in Kingswinford Staffordshire which is between Stourbridge and Dudley . Dudley was Worcestershire early on then later Staffordshire until the whole area post 1970s became the West Midlands.

My Kingswinford family had B.M & Ds. registered in Dudley and Stourbridge. My Grandparents - 1 Stourbridge, 1 Dudley, they married in a Kingswinford church so registered in Stourbridge and aunts and uncle all births registered in Stourbridge. Marriage and aunts and uncle registration 1903 - 1911.

There are not many of the Poultney name in the Stourbridge area but plenty in the area between Dudley and Stourbridge.

Buy the birth certificate to find the parents names to help you track the correct family.

But my point was that the post had been rr'd making it impossible for David to delete it. Consequently it had to have been GR who deleted it but I've never heard of them working on a weekend to deal with rr'd posts.

Mind you I believe the post had to be removed. David had posted a person's name and her email address.

Unfortunately it was his first post. Hope he hasn't been put off using the boards in future.

Wondered where it went . Thought he had misconstrued the advice on removing his email address and deleted it all instead

Now one wonders why David's post disappeared? It had been rr'd (not by me) so he couldn't remove it. Don't tell me that GR are at work on the weekend!!!

Particularly bad to post someone else's email, not even your own.

I think your post should be rr'd if you don't remove that email addy soon.
