Have visited the church in Glentham, Lincolnshire and two members of the family are buried in front of the side altar.1700. Hve visited Lincolnshire Archives and gone back to 1300/1400/1500. Found a parish church near Tenterden in Kent where a Tournay was vicar resided. A member of the family is buried in the church ground. My mother was Doris Emily Tournay. Patrick,
I'm related to the Tournays in Kent. I've checked your ancestry and I can't see how your Tournay line fits into the tree. Your great-great grandfather Thomas Tournay seems to have come from France in the 1870s, but wasa British subject. intriguing. Do you know any more?

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris, welcome to the boards.
Did you notice how old this posting is? Patrick never came back, so chances of him seeing this are extremely remote.
I suggest you try the email address (it's not a good idea to reveal this, against Genes policy too, but as it's there!).
You can also try clicking on Patrick's name and sending a PM.
The other thing to do is check out matches on other members' trees - use search box above right.
