Hi...thanks for your helpful hints. We have managed to trace quite a bit of the family tree and have found that Wendy is a relative, so thought any chance of getting in touch, however slim, was well worth it!! :-)

Jane, using the freebmd site, there is the following entry, which gives you Rennie's father's name:

Marriages Sep 1909 (>99%)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BUSSON Frederick Cirencester 6a 812
LINDSEY Rennie Kirkpatric E Cirencester 6a 812

If you use that site,
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

you will find births of their children and as they married in 1909, you should be able find them on the 1911 census which will give you their YOBs and POBs.

Jane,

Wendy's post is almost 10 years old so she is unlikely to see your post. As her record shows 0 posts that probably means that she is no longer an active member of Genes Reunited.

Might I suggest that you conduct your own research and if you get stuck don't be afraid to ask for specific help on these message boards.

Does anyone know anything about ROSIE IVY IRENE BUSSON, born in Gloucester in November 1918, or about her mother, RENNIE BUSSON, formerly Lindsey? I'd really appreciate any info on either of them. many thanks - Wendy
