I AM TRYING TO FIND ANCESTORS OF MY GRANDFATHER HENRY LOUIS PERCIVAL HARE. HE WAS NORN IN 1887 IN WELLINGTON, NEW ZEALAND AND MARRIED (AFTER DROPPING THE HARE IN HIS NAME) MY GRANDMOTHER MARION IDA MAY IN ENGLAND. HE WORKED IN THE CIRCUS AND HIS STAGE NAME WAS DIMITRI THE DEATH DEFYING MOTOR CYCLIST. HE WAS ALSO A STAGE MANAGER IN MANY THEATRES AND TRAVELLED AROUND THE COUNTRY. |

Henry Louis Percival Hare is my relation. I couldn't find out what happened to him but now know he dropped the surname and used Percival. I also know he went to Australia and had a child with Gwendoline Joyce Smith in 1923. In 1933 Gwendoline had Henry arrested for not giving her any money. What happened to his first wife isn't known :-D |
