Archie McQueen took over the farm from his father, John Mcuen who had been there ince about 1777. I would be interested to know more about the Watson Will> I am interested to also understand where the Dundas name comes in to the family. A brother of Archie was James Dundas Mcqueen but I cannot work the link backwards. Any help would be great.

Robert Dundas McQueen-Born in 1808 in Eaglesham-Married to Janet Watson, daughter of Allan Watson. He was son of Archibald McQueen and Margaret Wallace. Archibald owned or was a tenant farmer of Myers Farm, Eaglesham. I have will written in 1813 by Allan Watson, Janet's Father. He was from Earnock or Fairhill Estate, Hamilton. Believed to be a coalmaster. Any leads on this welcome. Lesley
