Trying to find Buckley

Trying to find Benjamin Duckwith Buckley, born in Edinburgh about 1863, but probably from a Lancashire family. He was a collier in Salford from 1881 to 1886. He was a soldier from 1886 and was stationed at Victoria Barracks, Belfast, when he married Mary Ann Ritchie in 1889. Marriage certificate says his father's name was Matthew Duckwith Buckley and he was deceased at time of Benjamin's marriage. His son, William, was born in Belfast in 1892, became a soldier himself , moved to England, married and had two sons, it is said. Grateful for any info.

Hi
Yes this fits my search. My father was Robin Francis Buckley son of William and Annie. His brother was James Andrew Buckley.
Would love to hear more

Valerie, welcome to the boards. Norma started this thread 10 years ago, didn't return to it, nor post again. She may or may not be a member still. You could try clicking on her name or over the profile "picture" and send her a personal message through GR. IF she still has the same email address as when she registered with GR they can notify her she has a message waiting. Unfortunately, for various reasons, that doesn't mean she will either open it or answer.
