I am try to find assesters of my grandad John Laurence Hurley born in Shiply 1929 his mother was Ester Hurley I think she was born in Cork Ireland around 1912 but am at total loss to any other posible relatives all i know is my graet grandma was made 2 leave her family home as she was pregnant with my grandad but was not married (with was the done thing at the time) I also belive my great grandmothers family owned the Bryant & May match company which i think was in Bradford Ester never married & my grandad always belived he was a twin but didnt know this for definat the reason being he only weighed 2lb at birth and was a miricale baby if any1 can help please contact me

I don't knoe if you get this, I have just been forced to subscribe to this genes reunited to emial you. I am looking for info on Ester Hurley as well. here is my story. my mother 1955 went out with a boy named Patrcik Joseph Hurley, he was born 13 March 1933, Say Esther was born 1912, that would make her 21. This was in Cork General Hospital. Patrick Joseph Hurley was never heard of after 1957, but he did say, he was brought up in Clonakilty Co Cork. and that he had no family....so this means he was brought up in an orphan.I don't understand Bryant and May match company. how can you find out more.
