Welcome to the boards. As Caroline posted 8 years ago it is unlikely that she will see your reply.

You could try clicking on her name and sending her a private message. If she still have the same email address then GR will notify her that she has a message from you.

hello Caroline,

I have just read your post on Thomas Wallace. He was my great great grandfather.

Thomas Wallaces son, Thomas W Wallace married Isabella Allan and thier son, Alexander Charles Wallace was my grandfather.

I would love to know if you have any geneological information about Thomas Wallace and Georgina Wallace, including if you know about their parents. I would also be extremely interested in the information in the copy of the Peebleshire Advertiser on Thomas's life story.

My Great Grand Father was Thomas Wallace of Bridgegate,Peebles, Scotland. He was a Millwright and Engineer. Married to Georgiana Wallace with 3 sons and 4 daughters. He died in Peebles Nov 30th, 1891 aged 65yrs At the time of his death he was a J.P. and Dean of Guild. My Grand Mother was one of his daughters, Mary Georgiana Ely (ne Wallace) and my father Herbert Ely, was Mary's son. I have a very interesting copy of the Peeblesshire Advertiser Newspaper dated Dec 5th, 1891 with Thomas's life story and would like to share it with any relations I might have Caroline Meek
