Patrick,

I am not sure if we have ever communicated with each other regarding our mutual family tree, but if not, I am replying to the above message.

I am related to all the names listed in your message. I see that you got your information from the Ellis Island site. I can confirm all of this data.
Edward John Grenfell Mitchell is my grandfather on my father's side. He arrived in the U.S. on July 9, 1905. His sister, Beatrice Grenfell Mitchell Moyse (Moyne) arrived on September 16, 1906. Her brother, Stanley Grenfell Mitchell arrived June 5, 1910.
James Edward Moyse on July 9, 1905, Clifford on September 16, 1906, and Ronald James Moyse arrived on that same date.

Edward John Grenfell Mitchell stayed at his uncle John Michell's home in Brooklyn, New York My father, Edward John Grenfell Mitchell, Jr. was born on January 19, 1914. The son of Edward J.G. Mitchell Sr. and Caroline Meyer. They lived at 586 Ovington Avenue in Brooklyn.
John Mitchell, Bettrice Moyne AKA Beatrice Grenfell Moyse , and my grandmother, Caroline Meyer Mitchell are all buried in the same grave in Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York (Kings County)
I have many documents and articles I can provide to you if you are so inclined, just let me know.

What is your relationship to the Moyse or Mitchell family?

Thank you and hope to hear from you.
