My GGgrandfather John Davis was adopted by an 'Uncle Templar John's Grandparents where James Davis and Sarah Templar. Sarah had at least one brother, John Templar, It's very possible that a son or grandson of John Templar (or his brothers son???) may have adopted John Davis he became John Templar 1833? and emigrated to Tasmania 1856 after serving in the Brithish army at Gibraltar I'M LOOKING FOR THAT 'UNCLE TEMPLAR' I am looking for a Templar family line that may have had an adoption in it around 1820 There could of been a second Adoption at the same time as John had a brother James Looking forward to hearing from anyone who may be able to help Blu Templar South Australia |
